The result
Once the architects discovered how easy it was to thermoform Durasein solid surface, their decision was made. They chose Glacier White for the countertop, creating a dramatic white ribbon that wraps in sinuous curves around the corner bar. They used the same material for the restroom counters, matched with standalone, cube-like sinks thermoformed in
Glacier Ice. The cool white tones integrate with warm wood slats on the face of the bar and ceiling, a chevron-patterned wood floor, earthy walls, and flourishing plants to create a bright, positive, inviting vibe that pulls customers in.

At the same time, Durasein solid surface checks all the boxes for the restaurant’s functional needs. It’s easy to clean, food-safe, non-toxic, and antibacterial, providing a natural defense against dirt and germs. The scratch-, stain-, and heat-resistance also make it an excellent ally for day-to day work, and the nonporous, mildew- resistant surface is ideal for restroom applications.
